Affordable Model Railroads was founded to provide an effective means of providing custom model railroads for those individuals or groups that want to enjoy owning and operating a custom model railroad but do not have the ability, time, patience, knowledge or expertise to do all or part of it themselves.
We have the capability to construct custom model railroads in our shop and deliver and setup for you, or if you prefer we can come to your location and build your new layout or finish work on your existing custom model railroad on-site!
Affordable Model Railroads provide services that include all phases of designing and building custom model railroads ready for you to operate.
We can also build your entire empire, just a portion of the layout or complete your unfinished project by offering a-la-carte services including model railroad layout design services, benchwork kits and construction, tracklaying, DCC, DC or Three Rail wiring, scenery construction, full sized track plan print templates, photo-realistic backdrops.....everything you want or need for your railroad.
